08.2018 vintage. best before 01.2039. No prosze wyznaczana data jeszcze dłuższa niż Liefmans czy inne lambiki. Ale skoro tu wspomnialem rownie kwasne style to tu jest fenomenalnie, jak kazdy wie porto to wino wzmacniane i slodkie, nawet za slodkie, tu beczki czas i zakwaszenie zrobily swoje, piwo choc spedzilo sporo czasu w tych beczkach jest mocno kwasne, ale subtelnie z mnostwem winnych tanin, dosdkonaly balans, owocowosc krazy wszedzie, pachnie sliwkami i czarna rozgniecona w spoconej dloni czarnej porzeczce. Piana, winnosc i aromat, doskonala jakosc, szkoda ze sie pospieszylem bo ze 3 latka jeszcze moglem pociagnac.

Bottle @ FugaCidade, Funchal. Almost clear amber body with a nice, lacing, big tan head. Aroma is vinous with berries, oak, acidity, dry fruit, smooth malt and mild funk. Flavor is moderate sweet fruit and malt, balancing acidic red berries, mild oak, slightly funky and warming vinous alcohol. Balanced in flavor and body with a long lasting, very pleasant aftertaste. Very nice.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 33A: Port / 28C). Bottle 37.5 cl - Batch 130/2019 (BBF 12/2049). AROMA: medium-high sourness followed by medium alcohol and medium-low Port-like notes. APPEARANCE: dark amber color and clear. medium tanned head with medium retention. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium Port-like notes, followed by medium sourness and medium-low wet wood. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. alcoholic warmth and astringency present. OVERALL: a Port barrel aged sour-like ale with a bit too much wood presence, giving it an excessive astringency.

Wytrawne, kwasne i drewniane. Ciut czerwonych owocow. Ciut suszu. Nieciekawe jakos tak po prostu, beczka nie wniosla nic fajnego. Dziegciowe. I chyba ciut octowe. 2.9
