Bottle thanks to a generous trader who I cannot quite remember. Poured a hazy amber brown with a grayish brown head that dissipated quickly to the edges. Aroma was full of sour red fruits with a bit of a tart apple note and a slight backing grain note. Flavor was similar with sour red fruits throughout joined by tart apple and a bit of acid. There was a slight backbone of grain.

Wash. DC tasting. cloudy amber, light off-white head. woot woot, this is some crazy barrel aging goodness, light vinegary, sour grapes? barrel pretty much covers the palate leaving a mild tingly coating that blends gorgeously with the tartness of dark fruits and berries.

750 ml bottle at DC local tasting. Barrel FO/BB, bottled 2/10. Very nice sour cherry aroma with vanilla, oak and other stuff, but I can’t read my handwriting. Taste of summer fruits and citrus, a bit unexpected. Nice character and complexity.

Thanks to cloudskipper. Dark reddish brown and murky - interesting look. Leather, oak, grapes, sour, berries, must. Lots going on. Sour was medium to mild at first, but the beer finished with good tartness. More focus on fruit, oak and leather. Would love to try this one again.
