WHO GIVES A WIT?

We do and it’s not rude. Based on a traditional Belgian wit (white) beer, we’ve added the bergamot and lemon zest of Earl Grey tea for a well turned out beer that politely packs a punch.

Bottiglia.

Canned. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is zest, banana, some wheat and coriander. Flavour is kind of sourish, but also has lemon, yeast, spices and some zestiness to it. Somewhat dry and tart in the finish. The sour notes were quite off-putting.

Keg at Craft. Very pale yellow colour with small thin white head. Aroma is very creamy, lots of wheat, some spice, citrus and a touch of earl grey. Taste is ultra creamy, lots of tea, and a bit of dairy. Nice wheaty flavour with a very subtle citrus touch. Towards the end comes a bit of banana, and some herbal elements. Not much carbonation. Aftertaste is initially citrus and then mellows into smooth creaminess. Surprisingly nice! --- Beer merged from original tick of Camden Town Gentleman's Wit on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. Thuis in de tuin op hete dag. Bleke kleur, weinig schuim. Prima wit bier.

Tap at the brewery. Pale whitish color, hazed, big white head. Aroma of wheat malt, white flour and flowers. Taste of pizza crust with floral hops, flat taste, dusty texture extra dry finish with a leftover of lemon. Light body strong carbonation. Good light witbier, too fizzy tough.

330 mml. can. Tasted on the 19/04/2019 at The Shed Bar, Leeds (England). Directly from the can. Slightly wasted. Grainy and corny, obviously. Soft wheat. Watery finish and corny aftertaste. Next one please!
