WHO GIVES A WIT?

We do and it’s not rude. Based on a traditional Belgian wit (white) beer, we’ve added the bergamot and lemon zest of Earl Grey tea for a well turned out beer that politely packs a punch.

Keg tap at the Garibaldi Hotel, Northampton. Light straw, hazy. A fair bit of evident carbonation. Not much head but plenty of lacing. Gentle lemonade and spicy hop aroma. Taste is sweet, well spiced and balanced with lemon tartness. The bergamot shines in the finish and aftertaste. Very well done.
