(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 22 Nov 2013) Black colour with brief, frothy head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, coffee, dark bread, raisins, prunes and a generous roasty bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Well made and tasty porter. Very nice.
