Bottle, thanks to cunningham. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head leaving lacings. The aroma is lightly spiced and peppery, but mostly fruity. Not much maltyness detected, neither in aroma nor in the flavor. It’s lightly bitter in the mouth, with fruityness dominating. Medium body, semi-dry, finishing fruity and lighlty bitter. A quite nice one, but it lacks a bit on bitterness. 120525

Rest - berget unna av Rune: Takker! Drukket hjemme 18 Jan 12. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Lavt bobleskum som varer. Beskjeden fruktaroma. Smaken er overraskende tung til pils å være. Blir raskt tørr & syrlig og avslutter veldig tørt. Bra øl men fungerer denne som tørsteslukker? Neppe.

Poured freshly into a two-liter growler at the microbrewery and carried back home by Frau Eva. Many thanks! Cellared for about three months and shared at a Saturday night gathering with good friends. Hazy golden coloured body. Lasting white head. Mild grassy hops and sweet, pale malts to the nose. Hay and pale malty taste supported by touch of citrus sweetness towards the ending. A fresh, mid-dry and sweet Norwegian pilsener. Not bad at all (Tromsø, 12.01.2013).

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian. Smells suprisingly fruity, slightly artificial. Aroma of apples with hints of tropical fruits and yeast. Quite strange, far from pilsner as I know it. Light bitterness in the finish. Strange, but okay.

Rerate, at the brewery: Sample from bottle. Better than first sample. Fairly malty, medium sweet. Decent hops in the finish. Original rating: Shared 330 ml bottle, as Kofoedbryggeriet Hvaler Pils. Golden colour, moderate white head. Disgusting and strong sweetish and perfumed aroma, "green apples" shampoo galore. Malty sweet flavour, seems not properly fermented. "Chemical" and perfumed notes. Sharp and metallic hops in the finish. Should never have been released. For a new brewery to launch crap like this, it may ruin their reputation for a long time, or lead to their downfall.
