Can (1/16/24) pour shared by Steve. Hazy dark brown-dark orange with trace sparkle, thin head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted pumpernickel bread crust, hint of dark fruit. Taste is strong roasted malt. Smooth, frothy, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Without seeing their description, I'd say true to style. Not getting 2/3 of what they say they were going for so disappointing in that regard.

On tap at As Is. Pours very dark brown. Toffee, ash, biscuit, dark chocolate, fruit cake. Medium body. Excellent.
