Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are sweet fruits, candy sugar, caramel, notes of chocolate and hops. Nice and sweet beer that hides the alcohol well.

Summer 2012 bottle number 01383. Pours with a hazy deep brown hued body with a retentive tan head and good lace. Aromas are toasty, bready, nutty, munich like, light floral honey nose. Nice malt character, raisins, special b, medium low yeast esters. Alcohol, jammy, cereal, brown sugar and a light citrusy zest to it. Flavors are distinctly malt forward, brown sugar, grainy, light bitterness that balances. More balance provide by the alcohol. Raisiny, lower esters than expected but still plenty of plums and dark fruits. Medium carbonation, not quite full bodied. Warmth decently hidden. Overall better than I was expecting. A well made beer.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of adnielsen. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with a small off-white head. Nutty aroma, brown sugar and molasses. Rich body, sweet licorice and again lots of brown sugar. Chocolatey, quite some minerals. Alcohol doesn’t really show. Not that Quadruply, but pleasant. 140712
