Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: jet black in color in the glass with a quarter finger's of tan foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: milk chocolate, light roasted malts, caramel/toffee character; dark fruits, subtle vanilla
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together to a fine sweet and roasty quality; mild finish of the milk chocolate, subtle roastiness and dark fruits
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; some smoothness along the tongue
Overall: I'd say a pretty nicely done Baltic porter I would return to.

Can on The Weardale Explorer - 813, thanks to the Wingmane, 05/04/2025.
Black with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is mellow roast, chocolate, toffee, brown sugar melt, vanilla essence.
Taste comprises chocolate, toffee, toasted brown sugar, honeycomb, light roast.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, light drying close.
Not bad.

Can pour from Steve. It's an opaque black with nice viscosity, light sparkle, 1/2-finger width light brown head with decent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt, toffee and mild nuts. Taste is strong bittersweet roasted malt, toffee. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick, frothy texture, average carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, this is one hearty (no pun intended) Baltic Porter with great depth to the aromas and flavors.

Draft at AE, 3/24/23. Rating #10700! Brown pour, slightly reddish hue. Smooth and clean, roasty, a little dry. Mild smoke notes. Balanced. Another nice one from Bobby. Very tasty.
