Four 330ml and 500ml cans consumed during a few days in Reykjavik and the West Fjords in Iceland in early September 2006. Pale yellow in colour. Very thin foam layer. Slightly citric aroma. Rather tasteless, but hints of hops can be detected. Dry finish. Overcarbonated.

Golden color, small white head. Burnt rubber and cardboard aroma - horrible. Watery, a bit salty hoppy. Tasting slightly better than smells. Maybe antioxidant (E222) used is tasting here. Bad brew, but new country :)

Canned. Yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is metallic and plain. Flavour is weak, almost inexistable. Weak malt maybe. Kind of salty. Weak brew...

(Bottle 33 cl) Neatly golden with a tiny head. Typical Icelandic flowery hop aroma. Surprisingly full body - Icelandic lagers are usually thin and watery. Good, malty feel and a very subdued bitterness. Not so bad really. 150905

A yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy. The flavor is lovely hoppy. The hops makes this beer OK.

Another Icelandic masterwork. Prohibition has left this country with a serious dearth of brewing talent or something. Light straw colour, light malt flavour, faint grass, light body and slightly salty.
