Crafted with German pilsner malt, a touch of specialty German malts, classic noble hops, and our house kölsch yeast blend. Notes of candied lemon, blackberry, freshly baked bread, and crackers. Named after Julia Balbilla (72 – after 130 CE), who was a Greco-Roman noblewoman and famous poet.

Taster pour on tap at Rising Pint Brewfest. It's a lightly hazy yellow-green (urine-like) with light sparkle, white cap of head with good retention and decent lacing. Aroma is pilsner malt, European hops, mild berry. Taste is strong pilsner malt, Euro hops, lighter berry. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and finish with nice yeast and touch of clove. Overall, good strength and nice touch of fruit. Well made.
