Ample loads of malted and flaked wheat from CT’s own Thrall Family Malt give a cushy support to Ella, Simcoe and the elusive Belma hop. Think strawberries, pineapple and orange peel.

Can (11/4/19--D'oh) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is cloudy, pale yellow with fair sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with good retention and fair soapy lacing. Aroma is strong grape, citrus, wheat, yeast. Taste is strong citrus, grape and a decent wheat cracker balance. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and crisp, dry finish with lingering cracker, yeast and mild bitterness. Overall, liveliness of the mouthfeel kind of overwhelms the taste experience but a little bit of complexity here in both flavor and aroma.
