50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty and breadish. Dry malty. Herbal, bitter and crisp. Dry and toasted malty finish.

On tap at the brewpub. A lightly unclear, light brown beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head that disappeares rather quickly. Caramel and some butterscotch on the nose. Hints of nuts. The flavor is less buttery, slightly more caramel-ish and nutty. A touch of bitterness shows up. Medium body and decent carbonation. Fortunately not much butterscotch in the end. On tap. Pours a neat clear amber with a small off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Medium body, again sweet caramel and a little nuts. A dry finish with a little hops. Clean and drinkable - a straightforward beer for the "Classic" drinkers. 090812
