A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away ontmoetten Emperor’s Brewery uit Coalville (VK) en Brouwerij Kees elkaar.

330ml can. Pours really dark brown almost black, with a tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, dark malts, liquorice, chocolate. Taste is rich, sweet dark malts and dark fruits, liquorice, chocolate, caramel, molasses, quite sticky, finishes with boozy warmth and some roasty bitterness. Full bodied, smooth. Drinks really well for nigh on 14%, and I think this is probably the first Emperor's beer I've had with no adjuncts in. Really nice classic stout.
