Lively pint which eventually settled into an extra pale gold/straw with a frothy white head and a a soft cereal aroma. Light bodied but also just a little bit creamy, with mild citrus bitterness, some floral hops, a hint of honey sweetness and light biscuit malt underneath

Handpull cask at the King's Head, Leicester. Very pale gold, clear with a thin white head. Tropical fruit and grapefruit with melted butter in the nose. Tastes a bit better, with sweetness on the front end and some decent if mild hop bitterness near the finish. Light body, soft carbonation. A little bit of a throwback to the buttery goldes of yore but it has enough redeeming qualities.

Hand pulled half pint on 21st January 2025, lunchtime. Kings Head, Leicester. Pale golden body, bright, clean and clear, snow white crown on top. Mild citrus feel to this brew, soft texture and subtle flavours, aroma also subdued.
