Hopfig blumiger, stark getreidiger Beginn. Dezente, später stärker werdende Holznoten, hell, süffig. Stärker malzig werdend, fast brotig. Gar nicht mal schlecht. 11/11/12/11/13/11

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with some floaties under a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, hay, and cardboard. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with floating impurities and a small white head. Sweet and sticky sugary nose with a little perfumy hops. Rich and fat body, sweet caramel and overripe fruit with quite some hops, never really overly hoppy though. 131212

Flasche: Light amber coloured, hazy with lots of floaties, lacy and stable off-white head, moderate to solid piney-hoppy nose, dark sweet malt underneath and a slight touch of alcohol; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied, cough syrup in the solid and lingering bitter-malty finish. Great stuff…

750ml bottle. Cloudy dark orangey golden colour with small to average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lacing, off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma, piney with a grapefruit touch, underlying caramel malty notes. Taste is initially slightly sweet fruity and caramel malty, then the hop takes over: slightly grassy and bitter with a minimal citrus touch, in combination with lively carbonation slightly biting; lasting dry to bitter finish. Sticky, oily palate. There! A well done German IIPA. A rare one of a few that can keep up with some of the well known US or Danish examples.
