Our Signature beer. Brewed to the same recipe in all locations. A very robust Red ale made with Centennial and Cascade hops which lend a spicy finish to the beer. We have brewed more Sharkbite Red ale than any other beer on our menu. Alcohol Varies.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 28 June 2016) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with red fruit, pomegranate, orange peel and pink grapefruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of red fruit, caramel, pomegranate and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Draft - Lots of grains, hop notes and caramel. Clear Amber with a beige head. Just as it smells with some twig bitterness.

A reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with smooth floral hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light grapefruit notes, light treacle, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Carlsbad location.

Draught @ Pizza Port, Carlsbad. Aroma has resin, tropical fruits and grapefruit. Flavour has resin, aggressive hops with grapefruit and menthol. Nice, I like the resin here.

27th May 2015: on my second flight of beers at the other Carlsbad Pizza Port (but brewed at Bressi according to the beer board). Hoppier than most ’reds’ I have tasted but with plenty of maltiness too. Mild citrus notes play with sweeter fruits while the semi-sweet malts balance out the brew nicely.

On tap at the brewpub. An amber colored beer with a small off-white head. Caramel and some pine cones and lemon peel in the aroma, the flavor pretty much the same. A good bitterness too in the flavor of course. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Mostly bitter finish. Quite decent this one, but didn’t ring any of my bells. 130813
