Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Hazy amber beer with a small bubbly pale cream head. Palate is crispy and semi dry. Slightly bitter toffee malt. Good marmalade and peel bitterness. Touches of fresh orange and lactose. Semi dry finish with a carbonated nip. Peel bitter linger.

Bottle, shared at Bruce’s. It pours hazy deep amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh pine, stewed orange, juicy, Irn Bru, bubblegum, varnish and sweet permanent marker pen. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy, varnish, resin, orange and bread with a very dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smells pretty nice, but it is a touch too dry and earthy in my opinion. Decent nonetheless.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - thanks to Paul. The nose holds pine, tangerine, earth. Medium sweet flavor with heavy sticky pine, light toasty bread and caramel, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous finish, lots of pine, earth, ripe orange, slight berries. Pretty good.
