Cask. Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. 3.6%. Clear, straw gold. Swirl of white. Nose has sweet, bready grain. Leafy hop. Light, peppery spice. Taste is moderately sweet, with a fresh, leafy bitterness. Light body. Low carbonation. Clean bitterness to finish. Lovely golde, in perfect nick.

Sun Inn, Kelvedon - mini winter fest. 3.6% version. Clear pale gold beer. Little bubbly white head. Light semi dry palate, fairly fresh. Mildly bitter hops - typically English in as much as there is not too much fruit going on here other than a touch of dry orange. Finishes semi dry with more of the same. Nothing wrong with this but itโs utterly standard and unremarkable.
