First brewed in 1996, our flagship Muskoka Cream Ale has since become a signature beer of the Muskoka region. Unmistakable with its rich amber colour and inviting floral tones, this laid-back English pub-style ale is smooth and easy-going.

Originally rated July 2004. Muskoka’s first and favorite beer pours a golden colour, with a tall foamy head. Nice lacing ! Head stays steady with the heavy carbonation. Mild aromas of malts, but strong hoppy taste. Deliciously crisp and very smooth mouthfeel.

A golden ale with a thin white head. Light caramel malt aroma, non-descript. In mouth, a grassy biscuitty malt, some crisp hops, refreshing. Tasted around April 2007.

This cream ale poured med amber colour with a white head. A nice scent with sugary malts and a bit of caramel. First sip was watery and bitter at the same time. Hoppy to the palate with a bitter finish. Not bad but not the best cream ale I’ve had.

Bottle: Poured a yellowish ale with a nice smooth head with average retention. Creamy palate with nice floral malt and low hops presence. Body is slightly above average. Overall, this is above your run of the mills Ontario easy drinking beer but it isn’t a great beer either.
