Ringmaster NZ is an all New Zealand hopped version of our flagship pale ale Ringmaster. Same ABV, same defined malty character but with a deliciously moreish tropical hop character derived from 5 different NZ hop varieties. Expect Passion Fruit, and Lychee on the nose and bright sauvignon-esque Gooesberry flavours on the palate. Its Ringmaster the same but different.

Old Fountain. Almost clear gold beer, little white head. Smooth palate with moderate carbonation. Hops have mild earthy and skunky traits. Traces of pine and citrus (lemon and lime) and a little minty coolness. Interesting! Finishes semi dry. Mildly bitter aftertaste.

Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, London. Hazy pale golden. Attractive minty black currant aroma. Mid sweet with light body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of minty black currant and grapefruit atop custardy malt. Bitter, yet balanced finish. Nice stuff!

Cask at CP&K. It pours golden yellow, with a big white head. The nose is pine, leaf, oily hop and cheddar cheese. The taste is grass, hay, straw, leaf, resin, raw hop and a touch of citrus pith, with a solid bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly oily mouth-feel. Very flavoursome for the percentage.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 25 Nov 2011) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with generous notes of fresh hops, citrus and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with lemon, grapefruit, peaches, biscuits and generous amounts of fresh, aromatic hops in the finish. Rather light body, with a touch of sweetness. Nice and tasty with a very fresh hop character.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. A golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Great hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, bitter, crisp. Very tasty indeed for such a low strength beer. Magic Rock are knocking out some tasty beers.
