Cask at the Fat Cat, Sheffield on 14th February 2024. Golden amber with shallow foam and scant lacing. Rich buttery malt aroma. Zesty peel and grassy hoppiness in-mouth. Citrus peel finish. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

27/1/2023. Cask at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear dark gold with a small frothy white head. Good looking beer. Aroma of biscuit, caramel, grapefruit, citrus, grain, malt. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Touch of spice came through to finish. Quite okay.

Cask at Colchester Winter Ale Festival 2023. Clearish golden yellow color, white head, solid lacing. Aroma of very light spice. Taste is light straw, light body. Light.

Creamy off white head on clear amber coloured body. Sweet, malt & berry aroma. Medium, smooth with a creamy back. Sweet, malt, berries, light hops & a big fruity stone fruit finish. Very nice.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden amber with minimal off-white head. The aroma has citrus and some hints of marmalade. In the mouth it starts out slightly sweet with malts and autumn fruits and some underlying floral hops. After a while it becomes quite bitter with grapefruit flavour leading to a slightly sticky finish with plenty of citrus. It’s OK.
