Bottle from the Dufftown Whisky Fair. It pours muddy red - brown with a tiny off -white head. The aroma is intoxicating peat smoke, bonfire, medicinal, vanilla, dried fruits, fruit cake, brown bread, charred oak, touch if toffee, vanilla fudge and spice. The taste is dry, toothy, chewy, bitter - sweet, brown bread, dried fruits, whisky fruit cake, warming spice, charred oak, peat smoke, Islay whisky, light tannin and vanilla fudge. Medium+ body and fine/light carbonation. Could.be done with a touch mor condition, but I'm really enjoying the heavy peated whisky vibes in this. Barrel aging works well with the base beer.

Bottle at home. Pours deep ruby, nose is peaty, shortbread, caramel, toffee, berries, taste is sweet caramel and fruit up front, dry peated smoky toffee on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wee Heavy 3.2 (Heavily Peated Islay Single Malt) on 04 Apr 2022 at 11:38 - Score: 8
