500ml bottle from Brightside. Gluten Free. Black colour, brown foamy head and aroma of roasted malt, ashy, woody, chocolate & coffee. Taste is dark malty, cocoa, chcolate, coffee, earthy with nutty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

cask, media pinta. Probada el día 27/01/2018 en "Manchester Camra Beer & Cider Festival". Color negro brillante con una espuma baja pero consistente. Aroma de maltas tostadas, débil madera ahumada, chocolate negro y regaliz. El sabor presenta también notas ahumadas y tostadas, llevando a un final bastante seco. Bastante bien equilibrada. Next one please!

Gravity dispense at EBF ’18, 10/08/14. Black with a good sized tan covering of bubbles. Nose is roast malt, chocolate, toffee, vanilla. Taste comprises mellow dark fruits, milk chocolate, earthy roast, vanilla essence, lihgt charr. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweetish licks and underlying malt in the close. Simple, effective, solid stout.

Cask @ Egham Beer Festival. Opaque black color, average to medium sized tan head. Smell and taste malts, big roastyness, dark chocolate, lots of liquorice, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Impressive, really nice.

Cask at 18th Egham Beer Festival, Egham, Surrey. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, slightly dry. Excellent stout, I could drink this all evening.

From cask. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, light smoked. Bitter and toasted dark malty. Mild smoked and chocolate malty. Bitter and dry finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Angel, 6 Angel Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M4 4BR.Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, cacao, chocolate, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120118]

Black, creamy tan head , good lacing
Aroma - roasted malts and dark chocolate malts
Taste - Smooth roast, dark malts, some smooth dark chocolate, malty, touch of coffee, soft bitter roast, slightly earthy bitter malt, smooth n easy
Palate - medium body, smooth creamy bit oily. Finish as main flavour, smooth creamy, lingering moderate bitter roast
Overall - Creamy stout, really nice
