Teaming up with our dear friends at Newbarns for our first Altbier - I Knew We’d Get Here - is akin to a Kölsch, being an ale that is brewed like a lager. A richer, darker grain bill gives a bright amber hue in this clean, crisp-bodied beer. The rye brings a peppery note that compliments a low hop-lingering finish. An ideal beer to pull us out of winter ready to look ahead to spring.

2/3rd's from the tap at Junkyard, Nottingham. Pours light brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, treacle, pepper, hints of fruit & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Very enjoyable
