Hefeweizen style wheat beer, a slightly sweeter edge with coriander and sweet orange peel. Bubblegum and banana on the nose give this a full fruit bowl of aromas.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy aroma has notes of coriander, orange zest, a touch of banana. Taste is minimally to moderately sweet wheat malty, coriander, orange zest; prickling carbonation. The coriander is slightly too dominant and gives the typical impression of bath salt - still nice.

Half pint, cask ale at Veritas Ale & Wine Bar in Leeds. Golden body with a wheat haze. White lasting layer. Aroma of wheaty fruits and coriander. Dark wheaty taste together with coriander sweetness and banana yeast. Dry sweet fruity ending. An English version of the style, quite drinkable but not particular successful (11.07.2012).
