Bottle from the Cider Shop in Cheddar. It pours hazy bright orange with no head. The aroma is earthy, musty, light funk, tangy apple, sour orange, hay and sweet apple pie. The taste is sweet apples upfront, apple pie, tart tatin, marzipan, tannins, candied fruits, earth and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and slick mouth - feel. The aroma is nice and earthy. Taste is a bit sweet for my liking, but it is good for the style.

Cask at the white lady. Pours hazy gold, no head. Aromas of overripe apple, farmyard. Taste is strangely sweet, for all that funky-ness. Too flat as well, for me. Mouth-coating tannins in the finish.
