330 ml can. Pours black with moderate dark tan head. Aromas of dark berries, fruity coffee, creamy chocolate and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on fruity, slightly sour coffee. Flavorful, nice coffee stout for those who enjoy rich fruity coffee. Would not call this a pastry stout though...

Can, huge thanks Hrabren! Very dark brown, almost black body, brownish head. Pleasant aroma, well integrated coffee with the dark malts, lightly chocolatey. Soft, creamy, light, coffee dominates, dry chocolatey maltiness, bitterish finish. Quite simple, quite effective, well integrated 11%.

0.33 l can from Ambasada. Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Oily jet black, small lasting brown head. Freshly ground coffee beans aroma, roasted malts, red pepper, tart fruit. Quite heavily roasty and burnt, roasted malts, a bit harsh. Coffee and this red pepper flakes flavour again. Quite strong, still balanced and drinkable. Smooth and silky. Medium to full body. Sweetness, molasses in the finish. Lingering roasty bitterness.

Really great beer. Sweeter, but balanced by the oatmeal, noticeably bitter balanced and sharp, but good. Super cleanly brewerd.

Strong oatmeal stout flavoured with coffee, brewed at Frontaal in Breda (southern Netherlands); thanks again to Tim for the bottle. Medium thick, mocha-beige, shred-lacing, mousy head on a black beer with a thin, hazy mahogany edge. Aroma of black coffee as well as used coffee filters of several days old, mocha powder sprinkled on chocolate ice cream, black pepper, brandy, ground walnuts, charred meat, toast, nutmeg, varnish, dried blackberries, even a whiff of pear juice. Sweetish onset with a sourish undercurrent that runs through the whole beer, a bit more prominently so than I am used to from this type of stouts, but certainly not in an infected way; dried blackberries, some dates, light umami hint too. Medium carbonation, full and oily body, hard-caramelly and walnutty middle with a bitter-chocolatey edge. Black coffee flavour becomes very apparent towards (and already before) the finish, clearly aromatic, but nicely bittering as well, a bitterness reinforced by spicy hops and brandy-like alcohol. Long, bit powdery, warming, bitter-chocolatey, still somewhat sourish and evidently coffee-flavoured ending. Quite a typical strong coffee stout indeed though perhaps a bit less sweet than they are usually done nowadays, in any case powerful, robust and well made.
