Cask (handpump) @ Craft Beer Co., 82 Leather Lane, London, Greater London, England EC1N 7TR.Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, earthy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Cask at Craft Beer Co., London. Clear pale nut brown. Nutty, roasty aroam. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel. Heavy hazelnut flavour. This flavour is quite nice in itself, but it is the only one there, making it highly one-dimensional.

From cask at Craft. Pours clear and golden orange to hazzlenut brown with a small, white and bubbly head. Aroma is toasted malty and light fruity hoppy. Bitter, toffee dry caramelish and slight bitter. Fruity, carameish and light bitter to medium dry finish.

Cask@Craft Beer Co, London. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is much resin, sap, ashes and some syrup and mild spicyness. Flavour is wood, resin, sweet malts, some mild bitter and mild syrupy notes as well.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 23 Nov 2011) Dark brown colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with dark bread, citrus, grapefruit and roasted nuts. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of nuts, caramel, grapefruit, pine needles and lots of citric hops in the finish. Light body, with just a touch of sweetness. Very tasty and highly drinkable. Nice one.

Cask, handpump at The Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 03.12.11 in company of Tom. Pours mid brown, tasty beer, quite soft, with a nice fulness of flavour, probably suffered a little from being tied alongside the Arbor 500 min DIPA, though it was an interesting and pleasant diversion.Light hoppiness, a little nutty at times, soft almost creamy maltiness. Cask at Craft Beer Co on 20th November 2011. Crystal clear copper with clean whitish head and a little lacing. Rich malt aroma with pungent spices and herbiness. Intensely herby liquid with chicory and endive notes along with ripe berry fruits. A sophisticated, delicate finish with floral hoppiness and citric notes. Engaging texture and light to medium body. Delicious.

Cask at CP&K. It pours mahogany brown, with a decent off-white head. The nose is wood, leather, floral, spice and toffee. The taste is wood, raw hop, floral, resin, chewy malt, leather, citrus pith and a touch of toffee, with a long bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Great flavour for the alcohol percentage. I hope this remains a regular.

Hazy amber brown beer, bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry. Carbonation is pretty mild. Smooth malt with just a whisper of darkness but there is no pale malt here. Well hopped, a little sweetish juicy orange and subtle pine. Finishes dry. Well joined up and intriguing. Can’t really say it’s a mild and can’t really say it isn’t! I suspect that was the intention!

Cask at CBC, London. Pours amber-red with a sturdy, bubbly head. Lovely aroma, spicy rye, juicy hops, pine. Great flavor, medium sweet, toasted malts, light caramel, rye, modest cocoa, toast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Modest dry finish, toasted caramel, impressions of cocoa, some bitter spice, rye, toast, mild citrus. Delicious.
