Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Slight perfumed some soap but a pretty good ipa. Bit too perfumed

Cellar run at the Craft - thanks a million Tom! Light haze on this gold beer, thins white head. Light semi dry palate, mild crispness. Strong flowers! But light and sweet and not at all syrupy or sickly. White flowers* with some violets. Underneath is a lovely sweet and sour orange that stops the floralness from being cloying. Finishes semi dry with more floral notes and sweet flowers in the aftertaste. Loved it. I’m sure this won’t be everyone’s cup of char - their loss! This is a belter.

* White flowers? It means not violets, rose, hibiscus, elderflower but something still clearly floral. Need a new vocabulary!

Cask at PSBH 17th April 2012. Looks fine, even the aroma is reasonable you get the floral notes of Jasmine, the taste however is way too led by far too much overpowering Jasmine, felt like I was chewing on a plant. Not for me ever. Just awful

Cask at CP&K. It pours hazy amber, with a a thin white head. The nose is jasmine, sweet clementine, tinned nectarine, honey suckle and orange blossom. The taste is pine, resin, jasmine, parma violets, soap, oily hop, grapefruit and alcohol warmth, with a big bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Interesting stuff - I imagine this will divide people.
