Keg draught at Cobbetts Real Ales, Dorking. Bright clear sparkling gold with a ring of white head and considerable lacing. Grainy and floral scent interwoven with notes of overripe satsuma and wood chips. Initial sweet taste gives way to considerable astringency, but the balance remains well-judged. The alcohol is prominent, which is kind of surprising as it is only 6.4%. More jasmine and agave syrup in the finish. Not the best ever IPA but decent.

Cask handpump at Pie and Ale, Manchester, Friday 31st March 2017 in the company of Dad and Barry. Pours warm gold with a white filmy head. I think that I can detect the Jasmine but as expected it’s subtle, drinks very easy for the abv. The bitterness is a slow rumbler, it’s good but lacks a crispness, fruity, pleasant. Cask @ Christian Firtal, Odense. Thornbridge tap takeover. Pours clear Dark golden with bubbles. Spicy herbal flowery - Jasmin nose and flavor with a touch of butterscotch. Not my thing. Other than that - smooth and dry. Bready cracker malts - tasty as shit - in the Way back. Can I have one without a Spice please?

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Copper with a thick creamy head. Has a soapy tropical fruit aroma and taste.

Cask at Cross Scythes, Sheffield. Lightly hazy, orangey amber. Thin, tight, lasting, white head. Peachy, floral and fruity aroma. Taste is peachy sweet, floral dryness, followed by a spicy bitterness. The whole works, really. Medium to full bodied. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish, with the jasmine remaining throughout. Certainly interesting.

Cask (Sheffield Tap, Sheffield) - Amber with a slight haze. Floral and fruity aroma with notes of jasmine, ginger and peach. Hoppy and spicy taste with jasmine, apricot and biscuity malt detected.

Cask at Beer Hunters. Clear copper color, steady white head. Fruity, sweetish aroma. Medium-bodied. Herbal, yasmine flowery flavor. Quite sweet real ale. Good brew but not really my cup of tea.

(Cask at Black Door, 20140525) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was mediums sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, spiciness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, spiciness, floralness, citricness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice brew but flavour has somethin medicine-like which didn’t please me.

Cask @ Euston Tap, 190 Euston Road, London, Greater London, England NW1 2EF.Light unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate to heavy hoppy, perfume, citrus, grapefruit, jasmine. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet perfume sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120122]
