Cask at the Craft, Clerkenwell - 08/02/13, thanks to Leighton for the pour. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is apples, summer fruits, light hops, pale malt, pears. Taste follows, grass, pale malt, non discernable fruit notes. Medium in body, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Sub par - have had a few Tyne Bank offerings and this is way below the others!

Cask at the Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 30th January 2013. Gold with foam ring and film giving initial lacing band. Yeasty aroma before hoppiness arrives in-mouth with cheesy yeasts and lime zest. Bitter citrus peel in finish which remains hoppy but becomes dry. Medium body and slightly clingy, oily mouthfeel.

Slight malts in the aroma but not much. Has a lovely clean golden colour and crisp clean texture to match. Subtle blend of fruits and bitterness as advertised.

Cask @ Bramling Arms, Gosforth 080912
Pale yellow, bit hazy, thin fluffy white head, good lacing
Aroma - light pale fruits, touch of honey malt
Taste - soft fruity hops, light honey, light pale malt backbone
Palate - light body, texture bit oily, quite sweet palate. Finish a bit dry, as main flavour, light honey, then fairly bitter, dryish linger
Overall - Pretty nice, but a bit too much honey for a 3.9% beer for me

A half pint, cask ale at Mr. Foleys Cask Ale House in Leeds. Clear, copper coloured body. Dissipating white head. Aroma is grass fruity, as well as notes of apricot. Sweet fruity taste profile offset by bittersweet hops towards the ending. Has got its moments of enjoyments (11.07.2012).
