Bottle from Bootle, MediaCityUK [131114]
Ruby caramel, very clear, frothy light beige head
Aroma of soft caramel, light toasted malts, soft sweet brown malt
Taste of caramel, toffee malts, very soft bitter hops, a touch nutty, brown sugar
Palate - Medium carb and body, bit fizzy, soft sweet. Finish as main flavour, some soft sugary residue
Overall - Soft malty beer, easy. Probably better on cask.

Old style ale, rich fruitiness and certainly a stronger looking than its ABV value.
