500ml bottle - 15/7/12 - Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, fruits, wood and some toffee notes. Flavour is caramel malts, toffee, and quite resiny as well. Long toffee and bitter grassy aftrer-taste.

Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, EnglandClear medium to dark amber color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, bright nuts, caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nut peel, caramel, nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111207]
