From the September 2012 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a medium sized soapy yellow-white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tart, chalky, lemon, pepper, cactus and brett. The flavor was very tart with vague citrus, brett, chamomile and vinegar. Long finish of vinegar, brett, chamomile and lemon. Light to medium body. Ok.

16 oz. can. Showed golden hazy color with average carbonation into a weizen glass. Low Co2 , head was large and fizzled into nothing. Nose is a nice clove and wheat yeast. Great banana flavor with lemons and wheat yeast. Clove with more citrus and some bubble gum. Biscuit malt shows up as well. The beer is pretty sweet yet, on the borderline of a Hefeweizen. Nice sweet yeast and citrus makes for a refreshing beer. Also has a mild sourness going on in the flavor. Sixpoint makes a good one here. And this pairs nice with several different dinner dishes.

Reaklly enjoyed this one. Perfect after a game of golf. Typical wheat ale aromas and flavors, but with a citrusy twinge that I couldn’t quite place.
