Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Darker golden-brown, clear, with a glow and a frothy head. Includes a mix of dark malts and roasted malts that are stated enough in this relatively easy drinking mild. There’s a very mild nuttiness in here too.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - close to opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - sweet malt and light chocolate. Some toffee. Taste - more of the same. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - one of the best milds I’ve had.
