Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Aroma is fairly scotch forward with some moderate smokey, peat notes. Moderate chocolate notes with lighter roast, caramel, toffee and honey. Light dark fruit notes and a bit of alcohol spice. Pours jet black with a medium large, thick, mocha head that recedes steadily to a small, thick, creamy head that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with moderate chocolate notes and lighter caramel, toffee, honey and roast. Fairly strong smokey, peated scotch notes with light alcohol spice. Moderate bitterness and light dark fruit notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid Eclipse, but I'm not a big fan of peated scotch so this isn't the one for me.
