Can from somewhere I've forgotten. Dark amber, slight murkiness, and off white top. Malty aroma, some sweet breads, nuts, light fragrant floral hopping. Taste of brown breads, nuts, sweet caramel, and a light hoppy finish. Drying, mid bodied. It's ok

(Cask at The Draft House Tower Bridge, 20191017) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had earth, malts and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were earth, malts, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A nice bitter without gimmicks.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Thin head, possibly just overfilled. Nose - raisins, glace cherry. Treacle bread. Inviting. Taste - more dried fruit and treacle bread. Light sweet wood spice. Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a dry crunchy finish. Overall - challenging but good.
