Cask @ Three Johns, Islington N1. Pours a golden pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Cask at the Bull brewpub. Clear reddy/ copper coloured pour with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is nice Heather and earthy honey, little candied toffee. Nice layers of detail on the nose with rustic leather and hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of light toffee and honey, lavender and just a whisker of citrus. Nice lacing on the glass. Palate is semi sweet and sessionable with very nice cask condition. A really hood example of the style, this beer is very sessionable and has nuance with every sip. Good cask beer served well is a joyous thing.

Cask at The Bull - London. Poirs copper-gold with a lasting, foamy white head. Nose holds doughy brown bread and dried berries. Light sweet flavor with pronounced doughy brown bread, more dry fruits, dry berries, faint dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Light sweet bready malts to finish, faint leafy bitterness, lightly toasted sugars, a bit more dried fruits. A tasty but altogether simple bitter.

[Cask at the Bull, Highgate] Amber with a moderate white head. Malt, earth, and some lemon. Good rich mouthfeel, fulfilling bitterness in the finish. Good solid pint of bitter. I could sink a few of these.

Cask (handpump) @ The Bull, 13 North Hill, London, Greater London, England N6 4AB.Light unclear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light hoppy, mango. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. On cask handpull at The Bull Highgate. Decent brown bitter ok condition decent malts some hop sting on the finish. A little bit of taint maybe from the line cleaner. But its fine. A touch of dry walnuts and hazelnuts. Acceptable fine brown ale.
