Flaske 500ml. Gave fra Rune. Svart med et svakt rødskjær. Høyt, litt farget skum som daler sakte. Tett lacing. God aroma av sjokolade & lakris. Litt røyk. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken balansert. Preget fra aromaen videreføres. En utmerket "porter-light". Litt bunnfall.

0.5l bottle from #unknown. On the pour this is a deep and dark brown looking one. Not directly black but not far off either. A nice big brown really lacing head on this as well. On the nose it's roasted and almost a little ash smoky. Good tones of both bitter and sweet chocolate. I get hints of salty licorice and all in all this smells quite nice. Really lightdrinkable as well. It's light oily and gliding in the mouth while it's just below average and near prickling on the carbonation. These guys knows how to brew good and much Tasting beers fitted for the Norwegian grocery marked. It's really flavorful and roasted, traces of chocolate blended with vanilla and a little bit of your everyday coffee. Lingering roasted malty and even more slightly sweetened chocolate in the aftertaste. Nothing fancy schmancy, just a plain old really tasty porter from one of the best everyday brewers in Norway IMO. 05.04.2014
