50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is mild smoked, toasted malt and breadish. Chocolate, smoked and dark roasted malty. Lingering smoked and rich chocolate finish.

Bottled. A black beer with a red shine under a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a small light brown head. Roasty nose, a little manure with a touch of smoke. Medium body, excessive carbonation, sweet roast and again a little manure. No real bitterness. 221112

Bottle 500ml. @ PBF2012.Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, burnt malt, dark roasted, coffee - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120727]

Bottled@PBF2012. Very deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, mild toffee, yeast and some mild liquorice. Flavour is ashes, liquorice, mild toasted malts as well as some slight head.

Bottled at PBF (as a gift from the brewer). Near black, mid sized head. Distinct coffee aroma. Mid dry, light-medium body, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and earth, mid bitter finish. Well balanced.

Dark ruby-brown color, small beige head. Lots of coffee in the nose. Light-bodied. Coffee, roasted malts. Lingering toastyness. Clean and nice.

Pours clear reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and hint of caramel. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted and chocolate finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
