Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, amber color, with a small, off-white head. The nose is orange peel, cloves, rye toast, mellow pine, and rose. Sweet and malty, with a clean, earthy bitterness. Medium body, crisp, and a bit sticky. Easy, quality, hoppy beer.

Tap at the brewery - billed as an English ipa, but this seems all American to me - it’s got a fairly biscuity and earthy malt character, which is perhaps its English side - hop profile is very floral, fruity, and spicy - overall clean and balanced but assertive and bitter - another solid ipa from this brewery.
