At FIERCE we loved Motörhead’s iconic frontman Lemmy. He was renowned for his LOUD Rock & Roll, hard drinking and sharp wit. Lemmy ‘avit is an ace wheat beer with Spades of Lemons and Hard Rock Salt to crank the refreshment up to Overkill levels.

Sunrise, wrong side of another day,
Sky high and six thousand miles away,
Don’t know how long I’ve been awake,
Wound up in an amazing state,
Can’t get enough,
And you know it’s righteous stuff,
Goes up like prices at Christmas,
Motorhead, you can call me Motorhead, alright

RIP Lemmy

On tap at Nettle & Rye, Bristol 16/8/2016. Hazy, deep gold, with a decent, white, head. Aroma of lemon, yeasty grains and some leafy hops. Flavour had more lemon, sea salt and a hint of spice, before a gentle finish. Good drinking on a hot day.

Keg at The Rake event. It pours lightly hazy gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, bright citrus, orange peel and plenty of salty lemon. The taste is crisp, refreshing dry, tart, fresh acidity, salted lemon, orange zest, straw and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. I found this very well balanced and really refreshing. A great summer beer.

Bottle thanks to the brewer. Appearance - golden amber with some head. Nose - lemony, hay. Taste - more of the same. Quite sour lemon actually. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - solid.
