Prende il nome dall’appellativo dialettale degli abitanti di Modena, detti “Geminiani” in italiano e, appunto, Zemiàn in modenese. Bottle 750ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, moderate yeasty, grape. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, flowers, yeasty, fruity, light hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120612]

Draft: Poured a reddish orange with creamy off white head. Aroma is a mix of fruit and spice. Taste is bitter metallic, grain, fruit, and some malts.

Draught at Goblin Pub. Dark amber, solid white head with moderate retention and solid lacing. Aroma of light malts and flowers, like lady’s perfume. Taste has white pepper, flowers, light body. Nice start for this new brewer.
