Bottle in hotel room in Istanbul. A rather nice wheat beer, with spicy tones and the characteristic aroma of banana. The best beer that I drunk in Istanbul.

Thickly cloudy and not much head. Fairly footy yeast nose with random lime notes. Soft body. Quite sugary on the palate, albeit with light wheat tartness late. Not bad, but fairly lame.

Bottled(330ml). -Hazy pale orange coloured, creamy white head, acidic cornflakes nose. Canned corn, light wheaty and fruity with notes of vanilla and pepper. Starts well but the finish is short and almost tasteless.

Bottled (BB 04/2008)
Hazy orange color, small white head. Papery wheaty aroma. Some banana, papery flavors. Medium-bodied. A bit too simple, but certainly interesting Turkish wheat beer. To be rerated from freshier sample.

Bottled. An unclear dark orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with strong notes of fruit between them light notes of banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, wheat, and banana - the fruit note is somewhat artificial, leading to a dry wheaty and artificially sweet finish.

Test vom 24.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,7,7,8,7 - 7,05

(33 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg) Shady orange color, fluffy white head. Phenolic and estery, spicy and banana scent. Spicy acidic taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. Taste pretty German alright.

Bottled at North Shield, Istanbul. Muddy dark yellow, minimal head. Phenolic nose. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. Fairly light bodied with notes of cranberries. No bitterness. A quite decent, though perhaps a bit mushy, commecrial attempt at a hefeweizen.
