Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and some caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of phenols, malt, straw, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at Cardinal. It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, dense, off-white head leaving lacings. Judging from the aroma, there’s certainly some Brett here. I am sure it is not intended, but it suits the beer. Fruity, citrusy and spiced. Some pale malts. The flavor is orangey sour and slightly orangey sweet, with a touch of pale malts and spices. Medium to thin body. Sourish, fruity finish with a pleasant bitterness, although I would like more of it. Well, I can’t imagine the Brett is intended, but it sure works out well. Probably nice when not off as well. 101113

Medium offwhite head. Hazy pale amber body with carbonation. Earthy floral peas aroma with mealy resiny notes. Dry-sweet earthy papery taste with strawy resiny notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry resiny peas aftertaste with mealy metallic wooden earthy notes. Nice and highly drinkable. Quite a bit of flavour for 4.7%, but could use more flavour. Flaske 0,5l spandert av Rune under en liten sammenkomst foran TIL-Aalesund 4 Jul 10 hos Leif. Lys gylden på farge. Pent kremaktig skum. Litt karakterløs i aroma og smak men malt / svakt ristet malt går igjen. Litt bitterhet i ettersmaken.

500ml bottle, batch 20, bought at Fenaknoken in Oslo and shared with Leif and Finn. Slightly foggy, golden-amber body with a film-type layer. Smooth malt-fruity smell. Lighter taste of bittersweet fruits added by fruity yeastiness. Dry ending and easy to drink. Accepted (Tromsø, 04.07.2010).
