This fresh, light, award-winning beer delights with its grassy, crisp taste and zippy floral aroma. Flavours of white grape and melon develop to reveal a subtle bitterness... a taste that is quintessentially English. Perfect with chicken and pasta - and exquisite with fresh Dorset fly-fished trout.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Pale gold with a trace of white head, moderate carbonation; fragrant, floral aroma; sweet fruity flavours - apricot, peach and apple; refreshing sharp finish clears away the sweetness, leaving a gentle bitterness. A good summer beer.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly dry and the flavour is sweetish and palatably dry. Overall a nice beer.

Bottle picked up from the brewery 19-06-06. Just as I was expecting golden colour, refreshing, the usual nice florally aroma that you get from many Badger beers, but all in all safe and unexciting.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Gold colour with thin white head. Over carbonated. Flowery/floral citric hop aroma. Pear drop. Bit lagery and wet in mouth. Boy, I have a problem with Badger’s bottled beer. They could be good, but somehow aren’t, but there’s enough about them to keep you interested. Overall a dullish beer.
