24/8/2023. Cask at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear amber gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, malt, butter, fruit, nut, hint of spice. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily, soft carbonation. Developing bitterness to finish. Improved on initial impressions.

Amber-brown with a creamy white head and a floral 'bitter' aroma which certainly brings back memories of brown beer from my youth! Basically a pretty solid (best) bitter: a little bit fruity, a little bit malty and a nice bit of floral bitterness

Hint too heavy on the “green” bitter bite. Fairly good but lacking in balance.
