Can from a Carrefour in the Marais. Pours brassy gold with a slight white head. Aroma suggests perfumed soap(and I didn’t just wash my hands!). Med body. Flavor is grainy, with some nasty fusil oils, getting stronger in the finish. Hop? Arguable. There’s enough alcohol or something to put a slight burn in the mouth. Look for this next to mattresses on the sidewalk.

500 ml can. Clear golden body with a nice white head. Weak aroma of sweetish grain. Flavor is sweet, light malt with a hint of metal and some alcohol without any of this being to annoying. Medium body and not so much aftertaste. Quite plain and close to be just another strong industrial lager, but somehow there seem to be a certain balance here and not the worst sample within the style.

Canned at PBF. Clear pale golden, minimal head. Vile aroma of rotting vegetables drenched in honey. Vodka and porridge before a salty finish. Undrinkable.
