Bottle, from the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey, split with Chris and Ruth 07/09/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a big khaki covering. Nose is floral hop, bitter citric, touch of pine, toffee, light roast, spice, grapefruit. Taste comprises earthy cocoa, toffee fudge, earthy bitter hop load, pine, spice, dark chocolate. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation - over cooked, semi drying close with a bitter rinse. Decent CDA but loses a couple of marks for the carbonation level.
